How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost in Texas?

How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost in Texas?

The number 1 question we get at Element Body Lab is how much does CoolSculpting cost?

we’re talking about the cost of CoolSculpting

It’s understandable to wonder how much CoolSculpting costs – before you walk through the doors of a business, you want to know what to expect as far as the price goes. It’s often the first question before someone even asks about our credentials, training, or experience with CoolSculpting.

Since it’s the most important question our customers have, we’re talking about the cost of CoolSculpting today on the blog.

We’re going to compare how much CoolSculpting should cost in Texas. We’re talking about all the things related to the price for CoolSculpting. Here’s what to expect:

  • How the price of CoolSculpting® is calculated
  • The equation behind the cost of CoolSculpting®
  • What to expect (and ask) when you make that first call to the CoolSculpting® specialist of your choice

Before we get started, keep in mind that the best way to determine your treatment cost is to schedule a consultation. That’s because CoolSculpting® isn’t a one-size-fits-all procedure and is customized to your body and the CoolSculpting® costs will depend on your goals and the treatment area. We offer a variety of CoolSculpting services for focus areas like the abdomen, arms, thighs, and more!

How the price is calculated for CoolSculpting in Texas…

CoolSculpting works by using suction applicators or handpieces applied to the body to sculpt away trouble spots, or pockets of fat that aren’t responding to diet and exercise.

There are different sizes and shapes of CoolSculpting applicators to cover different parts of the body.

Four CoolSculpting machine heads

CoolSculpting costs are determined by the “cycle”. This is a term that refers to one of these ☝️ ☝️  CoolSculpting handpiece being placed on the body. A cycle is industry jargon for the application of CoolSculpting handpiece to 1 specific area.

For example – you would need to place a CoolSculpting® handpiece at least one time on each love handle for a transformation to the flanks (that’s the anatomical term for a love handle)

Just like you buy a tank of gas by the gallon, but the number of gallons a tank holds is unique to the make and model of the car, you buy CoolSculpting by the “cycle”, but the number of cycles needed for the client are unique to the anatomy and goal of that individual.

Some areas take more than one cycle to ensure full coverage, even in places that seem like “one and done” places. Take the upper arm, for example. The average length of the arm varies from 4.5 inches to 9 inches.  Sometimes that means more than one cycle to achieve full coverage of the arm.

If you’re hoping to target your arms and you need two cycles to achieve full coverage (to each arm) like this 👇👇

Then you’d need 2 cycles per arm x 2 arms = 4 cycles per session

So let’s translate this to calculate the cost of the CoolSculpting treatment. First, you’ll need to know:

  • How many cycles do I need to get full coverage?

*Every provider was trained differently and we all come with different skills and techniques. Ensuring full coverage and knowing how to achieve maximum contact with the cooling panels inside of the CoolSculpting applicators is what makes the difference between botched CoolSculpting and amazing CoolSculpting.*

Once you know the number of cycles (by talking to a CoolSculpting expert), you need to know:

  • How many sessions do I need to meet my goal?

To determine this, you’ve got to think about your expectations and the outcomes from CoolSculpting. You should expect to see about 20-25% reduction with each round of treatment. How many rounds is dictated by how dramatic of a result you want to see.

  • Want just a little help? Like a 20% improvement? One round is all you need!
  • Want a little more help? Like a 30-50% improvement? Plan for two rounds..
      • Results will compound on each other. You continue sculpting until the desired goal is met…

The equation behind the cost of CoolSculpting in Texas:

Here’s a formula that’s simple and efficient to help you determine the price of your CoolSculpting treatment.

Once you know the number of cycles to achieve full coverage, you multiply the cycles per session by the number of sessions to get your total cycles needed.

  • _______ cycles per session  x  _______  of sessions  =  _______  total cycles needed

Then you multiply the total cycles by the price per cycle, or you reference the practice’s pricing sheet. On average, you should expect to pay $600 per cycle, no matter where you are in Texas. If the practice you’re considering is charging significantly more or less than $600/cycle, they’re cutting corners or overpriced. That’s the standard rate in the industry for a well-trained provider.

Here’s that equation:

  • _______ total cycles  x  $_______/cycle  =  $_______  total CoolSculpting cost investment

Let’s take it a step further.

We showed you an upper arm above. There were two cycles to each arm or four cycles total per session. If you’re comparing the cost for one session vs two, your equation would look like this:

  • 4 cycles per session x 1 session = 4 cycles
    • 4 cycles total x $600/cycle = $2,400
  • 4 cycles per session x 2 sessions = 8 cycles
    • 8 cycles total x $600/cycle = $4,800

Some offices charge more or less depending on the part of the body being targeted and/or the size of the handpiece so make sure you clarify the price per cycle and ask if there are different prices for different sizes of applicators. More on how to ask this question in a bit…

Treatment plans are customized, which means the cost of CoolSculpting in Texas varies.

The key thing to know or to take away from this blog is that CoolSculpting is a customized treatment. It’s not a one-size-fits-all type procedure. The price of CoolSculpting is determined based on you, your goals, your anatomy, and the area you’re hoping to sculpt.

You also need to know if you’re actually a candidate for CoolSculpting. That requires a physical exam by a high-level medical professional because CoolSculpting is a prescription in the state of Texas. The medical professional you’re talking to is making sure CoolSculpting is a safe option for you, medically speaking. They’re also ensuring you get the best and safest CoolSculpting experience, results included.

And you need a customized treatment plan, based on the body area you’re considering treating. When you look at the CoolSculpting technology from a bird’s eye view, the treatment plan depends on what your body currently looks like, what you’d like for it to look like, and how aggressive (aka how much time) it’s going to take to get there.

Larger areas take more time than smaller areas – so the CoolSculpting costs per area for the chin is going to be much different than the CoolSculpting cost for an abdomen. Additionally, if you’re a smaller person or looking for subtle changes, your CoolSculpting costs will be much cheaper than someone with a little more fat to freeze.

And no two bodies look the same. No two people have the exact same anatomy. Here’s one abdomen, and if you count the circles (aka “cycles”) you’ll see a total of six cycles to get full coverage of her abdomen. 👇👇

Here’s another client’s abdomen. She just carried small pockets of fat in the lower abdomen. two cycles was full coverage for her. 👇👇

And another abdomen that needed five cycles to get full coverage (but this client treated her love handles too!). 👇👇

While you’ll pay for CoolSculpting by the cycle, the number of cycles will vary based on the body part and your personal build. You may weigh 100 pounds, you might weigh 300 pounds, or you may be somewhere in between. You may have scars or stretch marks that need to be taken into consideration; you might be really fit and athletic, or you could be using CoolSculpting as a catalyst in your weight loss journey.

Each one of these situations begs a completely different response on behalf of your CoolSculpting provider when asking the question – how much does CoolSculpting cost?

The average cost of CoolSculpting by area in Texas

You can expect the average price of CoolSculpting to be about $600 per cycle, no matter the area you’re targeting or where you are in Texas.

Without a consultation, it’s difficult to give a price quote for CoolSculpting costs, but you can see standard treatment plans to understand CoolSculpting cost and pricing.  Also, keep in mind that CoolSculpting is a tool.

Each provider will have a different approach to body sculpting. Not all providers use the same treatment techniques. And everyone is different (as you saw in those abdomen photos above). All hairdressers use scissors – not all haircuts are good. CoolSculpting is similar!

That’s why we offer free virtual consultations where we’ll teach you all about CoolSculpting and give you a cost based on your unique anatomy. You can also check out our CoolSculpting pricing & packages page for a more visual explanation of this. Generally speaking, here are some ballpark price ranges by body areas:

  • Abdomen treatments vary from two cycles to six cycles per session
    • Clients usually seek 2-4 rounds of treatment
      • Treatments range on average from $2,700 to $7,500.
  • Love handle treatments vary from two cycles to eight per session
    • Clients usually seek 2-4 rounds of treatment
      • Treatments range on average from $2,700 to $6,000
  • Arm treatments vary from two to four cycles per session
    • Clients usually seek 1 to 3 rounds of treatment
      • Treatments range on average from $2,700 to $6,000
  • Chin treatments vary from one to three cycles per session
    • Clients usually seek 2 to 4 rounds of treatment
      • Treatments range on average from $1,500 to 3,600
  • Inner thigh treatments are two cycles per session
    • Clients usually seek 1-3 rounds of treatment
      • Treatments range on average from $1,500 to 3,600
  • Outer thigh treatments are two cycles per session
    • Clients usually seek 1-3 rounds of treatment
      • Treatments range on average from $1,500 to $3,600

Pricing for CoolSculpting® treatment in Texas can range from $750 to $12,000 and up. That’s why you shouldn’t hesitate from scheduling a free consultation with an expert CoolSculpting practice in Texas to determine your unique cost to transformation. Expect to pay $500 to $1,000 per cycle, depending on the practice, but beware of anyone charging more or less than that. That’s the standard in the industry and you don’t want a practice who’s cutting corners doing a procedure that has long-term results.

How much does CoolSculpting cost in Texas? Comparing the cost of CoolSculpting across the great state of Texas.

The cost of CoolSculpting in Texas should be comparable, no matter the city. Larger Metroplex areas are likely a little more expensive than small towns, especially if you have a provider with years of experience. From East Texas to the panhandle, everywhere you go should charge on average $600 per cycle.

The price for CoolSculpting is kept competitive and similar across all markets because the parent company (Allergan) has parameters in place to prevent price gouging.

The more experience the provider has, the more likely they will stick to a minimum of $600 per cycle. The quality justifies the price increase because the more experience you have the better your skill and technique. That means anyone charging less than the standard is:

  • cutting corners we’re not willing to cut;
  • lacks experience or skill; or
  • isn’t offering authentic CoolSculpting.

The questions to ask when researching CoolSculpting cost in Texas:

Don’t be afraid to ask about cost on the phone, but instead of asking for a specific price quote, ask detailed questions, like:

  • What is your average cost per cycle?
    • They should be charging on average $600 per cycle for a qualified, highly trained provider
  • Do you offer package pricing?
    • You can save money by taking advantage of package pricing with most Texas practices
  • Are there any discounts/rebates available?
    • If you are a member of Brilliant Distinctions, there are discounts and rebates to save money on your treatment cost
  • Do you offer financing? If yes, what are your terms?
    • We offer up to 18 months deferred interest. That means no additional fees for a monthly payment up to 18 months in term.

Look for a Monthly Payments with 0% Interest!

At Element Body Lab, the Dallas CoolSculpting Experts, we offer monthly payments through Care Credit and through GreenSky, to make the cost of CoolSculpting more affordable. These financing options offer third party lending to our clients to break their CoolSculpting transformation down into a monthly payment.

Most patients at Element Body Lab spend somewhere between $300 and $500 a month on their CoolSculpting transformation when using financing for CoolSculpting.

Keep in mind, we believe price shopping is a great thing, and we’re all for a budget – but the cost of CoolSculpting in Texas is not the only factor when considering freezing away your fat.

Good isn’t cheap. Cheap isn’t good. You get what you pay for with CoolSculpting.

We believe in the CoolSculpting technology, so read more to learn how CoolSculpting works and why we believe in our own training and techniques. CoolSculpting is a tool, much like scissors to a hairdresser. While all hairdressers use scissors, not all haircuts are good. Cheap CoolSculpting often means a lack of training or a lack of ability to deliver exceptional results.

Have you heard the story of Picasso’s “Dove of Peace” Napkin Art?

Once upon a time, in a Paris café, an admirer of great art spotted Picasso. He approached, asked if Picasso would do a quick sketch on a paper napkin and Picasso agreed. He swiftly executed the work, handed back the napkin, and asked for a hefty fee in exchange. The admirer, shocked and appalled says: “How can you ask for so much? It took you a minute to draw this!” “No,” Picasso replies, “it took me 40 years.”.

This may be our favorite story concerning price variations between practices based on experience. Experience is what brings quality, and quality justifies the cost.  With art, and with CoolSculpting – it’s the experience of your provider that matters. You’re paying for the training, the results, and the artistic capability to deliver on the promises being made.

If you’ve found a price less than about $500 per cycle, then there’s a high likelihood that you’re not getting certified CoolSculpting, or that there are some other red flags you should be picking up on, like an untrained provider. The cost of running a CoolSculpting business is high – and in this industry, you’ll get what you pay for. Cheap CoolSculpting isn’t good and good CoolSculpting isn’t cheap.

How much does CoolSculpting cost in Dallas? Comparing the price of CoolSculpting in DFW.

We’ve found that our Dallas clients are surprised by how simple our pricing strategy is once they have their consultation. Most CoolSculpting practices in Dallas are intentionally being confusing with their pricing because they don’t understand how to explain this technology, or because they’re trying to confuse you to take advantage of your pocketbook.

If someone can’t answer the question of CoolSculpting costs by phone in a way that’s easy to understand, then they don’t have a good grip on the technology. While prices vary, it’s easy to understand if you know how the technology works.

We’ve had multiple patients come into Element Body Lab who have been looking for the best price for CoolSculpting in Dallas and be surprised to find out that other practices are charging double the price for half the result.

They’re running vague and misleading “discounts” offering 25% off CoolSculpting without being clear on their standard pricing. That’s not the case here. What you see is what you get.

We value your time, and we value price transparency. We’re not in this industry to be greedy, but we are here in this space to offer the best CoolSculpting in Dallas. While our prices aren’t “cheap” they are fair, competitive, and worth the investment.
