How much does a CoolSculpting treatment cost?

In order to understand the cost of a cool sculpting treatment, you first need to understand a little bit about how CoolSculpting works because CoolSculpting is priced by the “cycle” or by the application of the equipment to the body.

What is a CoolSculpting cycle?

Important to realize, CoolSculpting uses different sizes and shapes of equipment, which are called applicators. There are 5 different sizes and shapes to be able to fit on different areas of the body. Each time an applicator is placed on the body, that’s called a cycle.

For example, here’s what the applicators can look like (or what the cycles can look like).  👇👇

How much does CoolSculpting usually cost?

CoolSculpting usually costs somewhere between $1,500 and $15,000, depending on your anatomy and your goals. It’s comparable to the price of other body contouring procedures, like liposuction, but without the downtime, risks, and medications associated with a surgical procedure. On average, clients spend between $3,000 and $4,000 on a treatment with our office with the CoolSculpting Elite technology.

We are one of the only businesses to post our CoolSculpting pricing online.  You can download our guide to CoolSculpting cost [which includes our pricing sheet] to learn more. If you’re ready to take the next step, schedule a one-on-one video call with a certified CoolSculpting Specialist at no cost to receive a price quote for your treatment.

Let’s take a look at the cost of CoolSculpting by specific body areas…

Pricing for CoolSculpting depends on the number of cycles needed to get full coverage in the area you’re treating. In general, larger areas (like abdomens) can vary greatly. On the other hand, other areas (like outer thighs) are pretty standard.

Coupled with the fact that no two people look the exact same or have the same goal in mind, answering questions around cost is difficult in the online space.  As we mentioned earlier, CoolSculpting treatments are customized. That means they’re designed to match your unique body and goals.

With that in mind we can share the average CoolSculpting cost by body area and show you some examples of different *popular* treatment plans that we see fairly often.

While CoolSculpting isn’t a pick-and-choose type procedure, and this webpage isn’t a “menu”, you can use the following diagrams as as a visual representations of some of the most common treatment plans and to help understand the cost of CoolSculpting.

How much does CoolSculpting cost for lower abdomen?

CoolSculpting the lower abdomen usually costs between $1500 and $2700 per session. Clients usually do 1 to 3 sessions CoolSculpting to the lower abdomen to achieve their goals.

The most common treatment we see when targeting the lower abdomen is this. 👇👇 What you’re seeing here is 2 “cycles” or two applicators placed in a V shape to the lower abdomen, with 2 rounds of treatment. That means a total of 4 cycles for 2 treatment days and the cost for this treatment would be $2,700.

Of course, clients who have a longer torso may need 4 cycles per session to get full coverage to the lower abdomen. Alternatively, clients with a shorter torso or different build may only need 1 cycle to achieve full coverage.

To illustrate, here’s some useful information to continue reading about how cool sculpting works or more info about CoolSculpting lower abdomen treatments.

How much does CoolSculpting cost for stomach? How much does CoolSculpting abdomen cost?

If you’re looking to treat the entire abdomen or get rid of belly fat through the entire midsection, then pricing can get much more variable. CoolSculpting the abdomen usually costs between $2700 and $3600 per session, and clients usually do 2 to 4 sessions of CoolSculpting belly fat to see a dramatic transformation.

You can expect an average reduction of between 20 and 25% per session, but when looking for full abdomen transformations clients usually have a fairly aggressive goal in mind.

If budgeting for CoolSculpting to the Abdomen, then plan to spend between $3,600 and $5,000, on average.

The two most common treatment plans we see for full abdomen treatments are either 1) a Diamond shape around the belly button, or 2) in an upside down triangle. To clarify, the way we place these “cycles” is dependent upon your anatomy.

Also important to note, you’re not *required* to do more than one round of treatment, but most clients do a series of sessions to see the results they’re looking for with CoolSculpting.

  • 8 cycles pictured (4 cycles per session, 2 sessions)
  • 2 treatment days, spaced 6-8 weeks apart
  • $4,500 treatment cost
  • Est. Monthly Payment: $375

Traingle Abdomen CoolSculpting Cost Example

How much does cool sculpting cost for love handles?

Alongside treating belly fat, love handles are our 2nd most common treatment area (and our personal favorite place to target with CoolSculpting).

Love handle CoolSculpting usually costs between $1500 per session and $3600 per session, depending on if we’re targeting just one part of the hips versus the entire back line. Additionally, clients usually do between 1-3 rounds of treatment to the love handles. In reality, pricing also depends upon your height and weight, and the goal you have in mind.

To illustrate how much treatment plans for the love handles can vary, here are a few common love handle CoolSculpting cost and treatment plans.

Lower Love Handles

For 2 rounds of treatment to the lower love handles (if we only need 1 handpiece per hip to achieve full coverage), cost would be $2,700.

Lower and Upper Flanks

Some clients like to treat above and below the small part of the waist for slimmer hips and a softer hourglass. For 2 rounds of treatment in this plan, cost would be $4,500.

Bra Line

On the other hand, some clients like to focus their CoolSculpting on bra line or right along the armpit area, and 2 rounds of treatment to this area would be $2,700.

Depending on if you want to target the lower love handles alone, the mid back (right at the waistline where many people have a fold or crease in the back, or the upper back near the armpit, your treatment plan will change.

Being that every time you see a *circle* in the diagrams above, that’s a *cycle* of CoolSculpting and a cost variable in the plan. That’s because you pay for CoolSculpting by the cycle, not by the area, and the number of cycles you need is unique to you.

The only way to get specific cost information would be to attend a consultation with a CoolSculpting specialist. If you’re in Dallas, Tx and wondering how much does CoolSculpting cost, then schedule a free virtual consultation with us right here.

What about abdomen + love handles? How much does CoolSculpting to the lower abdomen and hips cost?

A lot of clients want to treat the entire midsection to transform the 360-degree view of their abdomen. When clients are considering the abdomen and love handles, we often are trying to get rid of the “muffin top” that can feel frustrating, especially when you’re eating healthy and regularly exercising.

The average cost for CoolSculpting the abdomen and love handles together is $4,500 – which would include 8-cycles, or 4 cycles per session with 2 rounds of treatment to both areas. Depending on your anatomy, you may need more or less “cycles” to achieve full coverage of the area.

To clarify, here’s a visual on what that would look like. 👇👇

Muffin Top CoolSculpting Cost Example

Some clients like to treat all the way around the waistline, or the abdomen and lower love handles. For 2 rounds of treatment in this plan, cost would be $4,500 (8 cycles).

How much does CoolSculpting cost for chin?

One of the more popular treatments we do is for the chin and jawline. With more and more clients on camera in the post-COVID word, the chin is quickly becoming the 2nd most popular area to treat, after the midsection.

CoolSculpting to the chin usually costs between $750 and $1500 per session. Occasionally, your per session price can be up to $2700, but that’s not as common. Again, clients usually do a series of treatments or sessions – somewhere between two and three sessions to the chin before they achieve their goal.

Depending on if you carry thought directly underneath the chin, versus along the jawline, will depend upon the pricing (and the amount of time and resources needed) for your treatment.

If you have a mild pocket of fat directly beneath the chin, your treatment plan may be centered directly under the jawline, but if you have a more full pocket of fat under the chin or carry on both sides of the cheeks and jawline, the treatment plan will shift in order to get you the most natural looking result.

Chin CoolSculpting Cost Example

This would be an ideal treatment option for someone with a mild pocket of fat directly beneath the chin. This example shows 2 rounds of treatment to the double chin, and would cost $1,500.

How much does CoolSculpting cost for arms?

The best part about CoolSculpting is how customized the treatments can be. Keep in mind, the average cost of CoolSculpting the upper arm varies based on the length of the arm and the areas that you notice the fat. If you have longer arms or you notice fat throughout the entire arm from armpit to elbow, then the most common treatment would address both of those areas.

However, if you have a more narrow pocket of fat right underneath the arm, you may need a less aggressive plan.

Our specialty at Element Body Lab, the Dallas CoolSculpting experts is to provide you with the artistic expertise to achieve your goals. Because of that, during your free virtual consultation, we’ll give you our opinion on the best ways to meet your goals and outline the cost for your CoolSculpting treatment.

Full Arm Coolsculpting Cost

On one hand, some clients want a dramatic transformation of the upper arm and to trat everywhere from armpit to elbow. For this type of treatment, cost would be $4,500 for 2 rounds of treatment (4 cycles per session, 2 sessions).

Upper Arm CoolSculpting Cost

On the other hand, some clients have a distinct pocket of fat right at the upper arm and are looking for a more subtle result. For this type of plan, CoolSculpting cost would be $2,700 (4 cycles, over 2 sessions).

How much does CoolSculpting cost for thighs?

Thighs are the least variable treatment plans because there are only 3 areas we *commonly* treat with CoolSculpting on the thighs. Since you purchase CoolSculpting by the cycle, but not the size of the handpiece, there’s only a few different plans to choose from.

When looking at thigh CoolSculpting, you can target the inner thighs, the outer thighs, or the banana roll (directly beneath the buttocks).  The cost for CoolSculpting the thighs is $1,500 per session, per area. If you’re targeting both the inner and outer thighs, treatment cost would be $2,700 per session for both.

Most clients do between 1-3 rounds of treatment to the thighs, depending on their goals, but on average, clients do 2 rounds of treatment.

  • 4 cycles pictured  (2 cycles per session, 2 sessions)
  • 2 treatment days, spaced 6-8 weeks apart
